I am a mom of two little ones, Dominic and Rosemary. They keep me on my toes and excite me every day. As a registered dietitian and mom, I think of overall health and nutrition in relation to time. How can I use the time I have each day to help my health? I focus on the special moments of family time and the importance of me time, while also squeezing in time for physical activity, time for healthy cooking (for and with my kids) and honoring down time. I don't always make these fit, but I am enjoying the journey and trying to make it work! Join me!

These snowy winter months make me want to prepare a large batch of warm chili. And this is the perfect recipe! It is super easy, quick and both of my kids enjoy it. My 2-year old daughter even lifts up her bowl to drink the last of the chili in her bowl. Mix it up by o...

Here are our family's favorites:

Growing up, I can't remember a time when my mom didn't make Choco-Mint Freeze for our Christmas dessert. The combination of chocolate and peppermint is one of my favorites, right behind chocolate and peanut butter. And winter is the only time of year when peppermint st...
