Janine
As a Registered Dietitian and retail expert, Janine has over 15 years of experience working with national brands, retailers, health professionals and customers. In her role as a health and wellness leader with two major Midwest retailers she has become a well-known and well-respected health influencer in the national nutrition community.
Janine is experienced in featuring products and inspiring shoppers through nutritious meals and tips via regular tv segments, presentations, cooking demonstrations and written articles. She has been featured on local FOX, CBS and ABC stations and their affiliates in over 100 segments. Janine has also led Facebook discussions and Twitter chats with vendor partners.
As a busy mom of two young children, Janine also relates to shoppers with realistic solutions that have made her a trusted source to deliver timely food and nutrition information. Fast and easy meal prep is always a focus.
Janine has been recognized for her hard work in the retail industry. In 2014, Janine received the Supermarket Dietitian of the Year Award from the Produce for Better Health Foundation (pictured to the right). In 2008, Janine also received the Ohio Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award from the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Janine earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and attended Virginia Tech's Dietetic Internship in Northern Virginia. She also completed her Masters of Education in Health Promotion at the University of Cincinnati. Janine is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Greater Cincinnati Dietetic Association, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group. She is a past president of the Ohio Nutrition Council and currently serves as the Director of Sponsorship for the Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group.
