Stove Top Potpourri

Do you like making holiday gifts from the kitchen? What do you usually make? This week at my MOPS meeting (Mothers of Preschoolers) we made these cute stove top potpourri bags. I LOVE this idea! Have you made these before? What ingredients did you add? It’s quick, easy, and the kids can help make them! Plus, it’s calorie free since you don’t eat it (and smells AH-mazing!)!

Stove Top Potpourri

1 gift bag

1 clothes pin

1 clementine or mandarin orange

1 cinnamon stick

1-2 T. whole cloves

1-2 cups whole fresh cranberries

1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Holiday sticker

Sticker to write usage directions

Place the clementine, cinnamon, cloves, and cranberries in the gift bag. Close bag and secure with a close pin clipping rosemary sprigs to the outside. Place holiday sticker on the front. Write the directions (below) on the other sticker and place on the back of the bag.Directions on how to use: Slice the clementine and pour all ingredients in a small pan on the stove. Add 2 cups of water. Simmer on low. Add water as needed.
